barns
With choosing a grad school, I have
been giving a lot of thought about
where I want to live and what type of
person I want to be.
I took a series of barns my junior year of college.
The idea was that a lot of this lovely barns
were abandoned and going to be bulldozed for whatever
shopping center "is needed."
I always dreamt about living in a barn or
a tree house.
I took these photos to remember my dream.

rainy days= post about attempted projects
i have been researching more about grad schools and talking
about it more. a lot of people seem some what upset that
i maybe leaving in a year or less.
i really like new orleans. it is my favorite city. however,
i feel like i am losing myself in social aspects and not
focusing on my art or myself. i hate to say this but i feel
like i am dependent on school for numerous reasons.
another bad thing about new orleans is that the supplies
and facilities that i need (but can't afford) are not affordable
or even present.
Above are two examples of projects that i have started but have not been
able to finish due to lack of facilities/models.
one is a recreation of wedding portraits dealing with the
conservative nature of marriage and the other is baptisms
based on the new orleans spiritual church (both topics could honestly
be a whole page about)

september 1,2009- jamie lynn
Rowan was leaving. I had an inner debate on if I should
bring my camera out and take photographs
or
if I should just enjoy the company of my friends.
I choose the later.
However, my friend, Jamie Lynn did.
